Chlorella

Chlorella is a type of algae that grows in fresh water. It is one of the most nutrient dense foods in the world. Chlorella is rich in vitamin C, E, B2, B3, magnesium, iron, zinc, beta-carotene and chlorophyll. It is alkalizing and rich in anti-oxidants that stimulate the immune system. It is primarily known as a detoxifying supplement and as such is widely used in Japan. Its unique qualities enable it to bind to heavy metals and other toxic chemicals, which in turn helps eliminate heavy metals from the body. Chlorella is also used to increase “good” bacteria in the intestine in order to improve digestion.
